In this session join Steve Morgan from Microsoft’s SQL Modernisation team who will conduct a high-level review of the SQL migration tooling, discuss the strengths and challenges they present, the future of migration tooling and provide recommendations for the most common migration patterns.

Steve Morgan has 20+ years’ experience as a data base engineer & architect with the last 15 focused on Data Warehousing, BI & Analytics. For a large part of that time he was an independent contractor working across many sectors and organisations usually in project recovery scenarios. In September 2017 he joined Microsoft as a Data Platform TSP (that’s Architect to you & me) where he helps customers in the Health Care sector navigate the Microsoft Data Platform technologies both on-premise and in Azure.
