Come down and paddle with us. Our racing season is starting soon, we are training our novice crews, and We Need You!!!

Bring your smile. We'll provide the paddle and instructions.

Wear clothes you can get wet in and bring bottled water. Leave valuables at home or in the car. We recommend sunglasses, sunscreen, and either water shoes, or bare feet. Some folks also like to wear paddling gloves, cycling gloves work as well, while they're paddling. Parking is free and there is lots of it.

Only bring your cellphone if it is waterproof or you have a case.

You'll start with instructions on the beach. Then, we move the canoes on the water and practice what we've learned.

Count on having fun, and getting a workout!!!

No pets are allowed in the canoes.

IMUA Outrigger Canoe Club is a racing club based in Newport Beach and is an amateur, non-profit organization that competes against other clubs throughout Southern California in 6-man outrigger canoes races. Singles, Couples, Families, Adults, & Juniors interested in keeping fit, having fun, meeting new people & enjoying the water.
