This group was formed to offer an easy way for people in Newport to plan walks and find others to walk with. The goal is to get people of all fitness levels walking in the community to improve their health and wellness. Along the way, members may meet new people, see new things and, hopefully, make some new friends.
We will have a regularly-scheduled walks each week. These walks are intended to be for all members and will provide a way for our members to get acquainted with each other. Other walks will be scheduled by members who can decide the specific details (day, time, route, speed, whether dogs and children are welcome, etc.)

PS. Here's the fine print... You need to ensure that you are healthy enough to walk and that you are prepared for the walks you choose to participate in. :)
