NIxOS is an advanced Linux distribution based on the Nix package manager. With atomic updates and roll-backs, declarative configuration, inexpensive environments and integrated devOps tools, NixOS packages a radically innovative approach to system management.
The London NixOS user group welcomes users and newcomers to learn and share experiences about NixOS.
You can also join us on #nixos-london on IRC if you want to have a chat.
meetup are charging ~ $280 / year to keep this group going. We meet a few times a year, and are usually between 5 and 10 people. Personally I don't think that's good value for money. So far zimbatm has generously paid for this allowing me to ignore the cost, but I think it's time to shut this down.
I set up a github repo (https://github.com/nix-community/meetup-london) which you can watch. New events will be filed as issues, and we'll figure out the rest as we go along.
If you want to stay in touch head over. If you disagree strongly and want to take over this meetup group let me now and we can discuss.
