A Day at the Races ( how to shoot a Webcast of live auto races )

Details
Learn about the early days of setting up a shoot for a live show or event.
We are primarily going to see the venue and map out a live Webcast planned for next season. We'll watch today's kart racing - some of which are between the members of the Formula 1 MeetUp group - explore camera positions, how to set up for the best audio, what Internet connections are available, how best to shoot the action in the pits, and where to interview the drivers.

We get to watch the races too :) - So if you're an auto racing fan, you'll love it, and if not you'll still learn what needs to be done so you'll know what pitfalls to look out for if you do a live outside event...
BTW: If you'd also like to actually race, we have a discount rate of 25% ($150 instead of $200) which includes use of safety gear (you may bring your own).
I'll be driving from north NJ and would love some company - so if you're coming from New York or northern NJ and would like to come, I'll pick you up and we'll drive down together (7 seats.)
(eMail Nick@VidiNik.com or via MeetUp for arrangements)
It'll be a fun and an informative afternoon..
