What we're about

Our Mission statement:

NoCA, North Cambridge Arts, exists to provide collegial support among artists of all disciplines and to facilitate links with the local community.

North Cambridge Arts is a community of artists — visual artists, performing artists, writers, or any other type of artists — primarily living and/or working in and around North Cambridge. If this describes you and you are interested in sharing your work with the community, contact us!

Most of us participate in the annual Open Studios, now managed through the Cambridge Arts Council. See http://www.cambridgema.gov/arts/Programs/openstudios.aspx for more information.

Benefits of NoCA membership include:

- Ability to participate in “crit groups” to get feedback on your art from your peers
- NoCA website for posting up to 10 images and an artist statement
- Ability to sell your work at the Annual NOCA Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Sale
- Ability to showcase your work as part of regular NoCA shows at venues throughout North Cambridge
- Belonging to a community of other artists for sharing of works, ideas, and friendship

More info about joining can be found here

Email to Marci Davis, new members coordinator, mdavismad@gmail.com for more information, including dates for our next NoCA meeting.
