We're a community of horse lovers looking to make new friends and enjoy old friends of the 2- or 4-legged variety through local horseback rides, clinics and equestrian events.
Our only criteria is that you play nicely with others and treat each other (and our horses) with respect! We hope that you'll enjoy swapping stories, learning new things, exploring new terrain, connecting with resources you may need and getting more time in the saddle!
A few housekeeping guidelines:
1 - Ownership of an equine (mules and donkeys are certainly allowed) is needed to be a part of this group (or a friend in the group who is willing to share!)
2 - In order to be approved you do need to include a photo, full name and answer our questions.
ADVERTISING is strictly controlled in this group. We will have opportunities to share relevant and useful services once a month, so if you are interested in doing so please send a message to one of the organizers.
THIS IS A VOLUNTEER, unofficial riding group and do not carry group insurance or take responsibility for any incidents that may happen in relation to, during or after one of our events. Horseback handling and riding carries inherent dangers and it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your person, your animals and your property.
*If you'd like to be able to host rides, please message me. I'd love to have everyone sharing the trail and hosting rides for the group. The more, the merrier if we can all follow some basic parameters and be safe about it.
