What we're about

Since 2006 we are the only organization in the Washington DC area that has offered continuous drop-in classes for convenient Mandarin study with instruction by native speakers:

· No registration forms or fees

· Tuition collected on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. Only pay for the classes you attend.

· Progressive curriculum with textbooks and supplementary material

· Free on-line Memrise course to reinforce material covered in class

· Social activities outside class

· No membership dues. Group dues have been borne by the organizers since inception. We are non-profit with 100% of tuition payments going to teachers.

· No cover charges for social events. We receive no compensation from restaurants or anyone else.

Meet and mingle with fellow Chinese speakers and learners! Together, we practice speaking Chinese and give Chinese members practice time in English as well. We are a supportive meetup that helps everyone: beginning or advanced, outgoing or not.
