19:10 - How Code Styling Conventions Saved my Mental Sanity!
By Agam Rafaeli-Farhadian, Application Team Leader at Armis

In my talk I'll go over why coding styling conventions became important to us (me!), what are some practices we've developed and give some helpful pointers on how to start out. At Armis we have a crazily fast growing code and coder base. Due to this we aim to make our codebase readable to each person as if they wrote it all themselves. To achieve this we have employed multiple tactics ranging from specific minute JavaScript notations, through file, folder and class naming conventions all the way to how we enact our code review process. In my talk I'd like to touch base on the importance of industry standards such as ESLint and unit tests, but not dwell on them. I would like to finish with some small flourishes of how we integrate Jira and Jenkins into our coding readability practices. The talk will culminate with practices anyone can start immediately, be them the VP R&D of their company or an entry level developer.
