We are a group of friendly women who love to Nordic walk. Nordic walking is a brilliant, low-impact way to improve your fitness as it tones the upper body as well as the lower body and it's lots of fun. There are various sessions you can join, some more challenging than others, and if you don't know how to Nordic walk you can always join a Learn to Nordic walk course. Learn to Nordic Walk course

If you enjoy walking then you will love Nordic walking. It’s still low-impact and yet much more effective because you get an upper body as well as a lower body workout. You’ll soon notice the difference in your fitness levels, you will feel your arms get firmer and your energy levels will soar. Importantly it’s also very social and lots of fun! The Learn to Nordic Walk course lasts for 3 consecutive weeks and will teach you everything you need to know about the Nordic walking technique and how to adapt it to work at your own fitness levels. Teaching takes place in small groups so there’s lots of time for individual attention. Once you have completed it you can join the drop in sessions and be part of a community of really friendly, like-minded women.
