I'm planning a little adventure!

I've completed the Yorkshire three peaks on a few occasions, but it can't hurt to do it again.

The distance is 24 miles and the aim is to complete it in 12 hours (that's part of the challenge). I will be attempting to complete it in that time, but there's no requirement for us all to walk together. However, if your pace is over 12 hours, then you'll need to arrange others to walk with, and I'd like to avoid this if possible.

There's further information at:

The intention is to go on a Friday evening, enjoy a lovely pub meal together, stay overnight and then start the walk early on the Saturday morning. That means people won't need to take Friday off work (unless they want to get there earlier, and some of us will be to do a short walk in the area). We'll all eat together on Saturday evening to celebrate our bravery (and to commiserate with anyone who has been a bit hopeless) We'll do a short walk on the Sunday and then be back by late Sunday evening.

This isn't the easiest of walks, but take it nice and slowly and it'll be OK :) Also, there are ways of only doing part of the walk, which increases the options. If you're unfit, then get training!

I'm conscious that some people are struggling to get on Hike Norfolk events because of their popularity. So, I've set the maximum number high on this trip to give a larger number of people a chance to come.

This event clashes with the Legstretchers weekend (they're the long distance walking group of Norfolk Ramblers) so this weekend will be the Legstretchers event for April 2019. That means it'll be the first Legstretchers holiday!

Please note that you must be a member of the Ramblers to go on this trip (I'll be doing the check in February 2019, it's just for insurance purposes). If you're a member of Hike Norfolk that's fine, if you're a member of another Ramblers group you will need to supply me your membership details.
