The Ramblers, Britain’s biggest walking charity, is teaming up with mental health awareness campaign Time to Change for their annual Time to Talk Day on 7th February (please see this link: https://www.time-to-change.org.uk/?utm_source=Time+to+Talk+Day&utm_campaign=17bcddc254-time-to-talk-day-guide-all&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_14847c985e-17bcddc254-41541643&mc_cid=17bcddc254&mc_eid=db7743eb55

The national walking charity is helping raise awareness of the importance of talking about mental health, highlighting how talking about difficult subjects can be easier when you’re walking, and the Norwich Ramblers is participating with 2 walks, on 10th & 13th February.

This is a normal group walk but, as we're taking part in Time To Talk campaign, we invite people to join our walk & feel free to talk about mental health if they'd like to. We want everyone who comes along on the walk to benefit from walking & talking together, bringing our community closer to nature & each other.

Please message Marita if you have any fears or concerns about coming on the walk. We can meet you at your car or have a chat beforehand, whatever helps. Let us know. Come & join us!

Norwich Ramblers Group, Sunday walk. NORWICH RAMBLERS is one of the many Ramblers groups in the country, together with Hike Norfolk and Legstretchers, also on Meetup. There are many other local Ramblers in the Norfolk area who do not use Meetup. Most Ramblers do not use Meetup, so do not be put off by small numbers ticking the walk!

Besides the meetup group, you will also need to join Ramblers if you would like to walk with any of the groups. Of course we welcome new members, so you could try any group up to 3 times before joining Ramblers. You can later decide which of the local Ramblers group you would like your name under, although with the membership you can walk with any group in the country. Further information about joining can be found here:
