Norfolk Contra Dance

Join your friends and make new ones at the next Norfolk contra dance: Music will be provided by "Orion" -- Steve Suhring on fiddle, Ken Veazey on keyboard and Joe Healey on banjo, hammered dulcimer and other noisy things. Calling will be by Ben Allbrandt. This will be a great dance for first timers as well as experienced folks, so bring a friend!

Refreshments at the break -- bring your favorite to share.

Cost: $8.00 for TCDC members; $10.00 for non-members.

To attend the dance:

• At the Norfolk Contra Dance, we expect that all who attend are following CDC and Virginia guidelines because contracting COVID-19 is still a possibility.
• All guests in attendance are expected to be vaccinated or have received a negative test within 72 hours of our event.
• PLEASE do not attend if you are not feeling well, are not fully vaccinated, or did not receive a negative COVID test within 72 hours.

At the dance:

• You will be required to wear a mask when entering and exiting the building (this is a church rule).
• Mask wearing will be optional for the dance. If there are enough mask wearers, we will have a contra dance line for masks only, for those who feel more comfortable that way.
• We will provide ample hand sanitizer. Remember to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
