It's July again and time for making JavaScript-controlled robots. It's our 3rd annual International NodeBotsDay! The focus of NodeBots Day is on sharing and enjoying each other's company. And JavaScript. Lots of JavaScript.

The event will be in rooms 1002 and 1005 of Constant Hall at Old Dominion University.

This event is friendly for all ages and experience levels. There will be kits to use during the day for building Sumobots or you're welcome to bring your own parts to make a NodeBot of your choosing.

This year we will have NodeCopters and Node SoccerBots!

Tentative Schedule:

• 10:00am - 12:00pm - Intro and Sumobot robot build. NodeCopter obstacle course opens and NodeBots Soccer begins.

12:00pm - 1:30pm - Lunch and Beginner/Kids Exhibition Match (Perfect for those who can't stay all day)

1:30pm - 3:00pm - Advanced hack, upgrade, and build. More NodeBot Soccer.

3:00pm - 5:00pm - Snacks, drinks and the final "Battle of the Robots!"

This event and all food/drinks are completely free due to the support of our hosts, sponsors, and volunteers. So that everyone has an opportunity to participate, we will be asking that attendees share robot kits and work together on projects.

This event is great for kids, but we ask that all children have at least one parent or guardian on-site.
