Rakshabandhan Restoring Purity to the Heart of the Soul You are warmly invited to a delightful evening to reawaken the memory inside every soul of a pure love that restores peace within...the Love of God. How could we make such love a practical reality in our life? Join us for an informative talk, silent reflections, tying of Rakhi (a wristband of love) and love-meditation Special guest speaker Sister Sheilu came in contact with the Brahma Kumaris in 1960 at the tender age of 1 —giving her the rare opportunity to meet the Organization's founder, Brahma Baba. After obtaining her degree in Science from Bombay University in 1969 she immediately dedicated her life to the organization. Since 1976, she has been based at the headquarters of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mount Abu, Rajasthan, where she regularly presents discourses on spiritual knowledge to thousands of people. Her versatile grasp of the spiritual dimension makes her presentations to those from all professions particularly relevant and contemporary. In addition, her lectures air regularly on Brahma Kumaris’ own channel ‘Peace of Mind’. Sister Sheilu has traveled extensively as a lecturer in India as well as in over 70 countries, and has been interviewed by newspapers, radio and TV. What we're about

This meetup is for those who are interested in spirituality, who are looking for ways to begin their journey towards embracing spirituality as crucial to a higher quality of life.
This group is also for those who are committed to a spiritual life and are looking for deeper understanding of spiritual knowledge and application as well as for those who are looking specifically for silence and introversion. We teach Raja Yoga meditation as taught by the Brahma Kumaris, which is the most ancient form of meditation practice. It originated in India and has evolved over the past several centuries. We provide free-of-cost introductory and advanced courses.
