What we’re about

The North Country Gaylaxians is the Twin Cities’ chapter of the Gaylactic Network (a national organization for GLBT people and their friends, who are interested in science fiction, fantasy, horror and gaming). We read and discuss Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror and other speculative fiction with positive GLBT or similar content or by GLBT authors; have regular game nights; and sponsor panel discussions at conventions. Many of our books for discussion are taken from the Spectrum Award or Lambda Awards winners or short lists, but we are always open for suggestions. Our book discussions meet at the Quatrefoil Library at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the month.  We also periodically host Gaylaxicon, a national GLBT science fiction, fantasy, horror and gaming convention that travels around the country.
