Using Modern C++ to Eliminate `virtual`

As the C++ standard has evolved, more tools have become available to developers to express their abstractions. This talk will cover how to use modern metaprogramming techniques to develop abstractions with similar or identical properties to abstractions which, in the past, could only be expressed using virtual functions. This talk will also cover some of the reasons that the developer might choose a metaprogramming approach over the traditional inheritance-based approaches.
