North East Florida Audio Society

Individuals who enjoy listening to quality music reproduction on systems designed to perform at a high level. We invite those just starting to appreciate these activities up to those who have invested much time and thought into their systems. Digital, vinyl, and reel to reel sources are all appreciated. Help us reach for the hi end in sound quality whether it be in headphone reproduction or full home systems group enjoyment.

Structure

We plan to hold formal meetings at least once every other month (some weeknights, others weekends) for listening sessions, gear demo's, audio chat, and/or live music. Members also are encouraged to hold smaller scale listening sessions. We welcome prospective members (age 18+) from the North East Florida region.

Membership

Prospective members must complete our brief online questionnaire. One of our Membership Co- Chairs will follow up within 1-3 days, via the Meetup message app, requesting your phone number, so we can personally call and answer any questions before approving your membership. Please make sure you forward your phone number via the Meetup Message feature. Your phone number will remain private. Our society has a $15.00 annual dues payment at this time.

Waiver and Release of Liability

All club members, by virtue of their request to join and participate in any activity (in person or online) of the North East Florida Audio Society (NEFAS) including related meetings and all other activities, acknowledge and agree to release the NEFAS from any and all liability whatsoever, and further covenants and agrees that the club member shall not hold said organization, or any of its officers or members liable (solely, jointly, or severally), for any injury or damage whatsoever incurred directly or indirectly during their voluntary participation in any event organized or hosted by the club, nor the premises in which the event occurs.

Donations/Sponsorships

Membership dues currently are used to subsidize any actual club costs. In order to continue our growth we also welcome additional financial support from local audio, home theater, and music related businesses (members too!). Please contact us if you would like to become a club sponsor or otherwise provide additional financial support.

Other

Please note that our meetup group is PRIVATE, so we require all prospective members to register with their real name. After approval, NEFAS members may later use a nickname on a future message board, if desired, once their identity has been confirmed.
