What we're about
This grief support group is for individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one - a recent loss or a loss from many years ago and you may have pain that has resurfaced for any reason.
Group meetings are focused on receiving and offering support through personal sharing, listening, discussion, reflection, meditation, writing and art work.
This support group is offered FREE of charge.
Group meetings are held in the Community Life Center Cafe at Ingomar United Methodist Church.
Our church believes fellowship with others is an integral part of the healing process; and no one should grieve alone.
So we invite you to just sit back, talk, listen, share and be a part of a group that "just gets it." Coping skills is another great topic of discussion. It will help you to talk to others that have learned and "walked that road." We are all in this together as one. We welcome you to bring food and we will have coffee and tea at each meeting.
We also advertise other grief support groups and events around Pittsburgh so members will learn about all the local support options available and how to connect. For more information please feel free to contact us! We hope you can join us!
