Most of us are grieving something. There are over 40 different types of losses that create grief. These include: death, divorce, break up of a romantic relationship, moving, changes in career, loss of a pet, changes in finances, changes in health, losses in childhood (such as abuse or neglect) or even changes in our life space. Grief is the normal and natural response to a loss of any kind; however, most of us do not learn how to grieve. Therefore, we end up carrying the losses inside, which can severely limit our capacity for happiness. Signs of grief include: depression, lack of energy, over reactions, easily irritated, isolation, unwanted behavior patterns, negative thinking, inability to trust others or feeling stuck Grief Recovery gives us the tools we need in order to resolve our grief and have a better life.
