This informal, relaxed and friendly mindfulness and compassion drop-in session is starting up again after a few months break. If you've been before then it will be much the same. If you haven't been before, then you can expect a warm welcome.
Arrive from 5.45pm for a cup of herbal tea. We start at 6pm (no entry after 6pm) and finish at 7pm. I begin with a short reading, followed by a guided mindfulness practice, an opportunity to share thoughts with the group (you are not obliged to say anything!), followed by a short guided compassion practice.
There's a mixture of floor cushions and chairs. If there's a particular form of seating you require, then arrive at 5.45 to make yourself comfortable! There are cats in the house, they are locked out of the meditation room, but not advisable if severely allergic to cat fur.
The group is open to all levels including those who have never tried meditation before.
