WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Our first Meetup of the 2019-2020 season will be an introduction to Machine Learning (ML). Our guest speakers will aim to answer these key questions:

  1. What is ML and how is it related to Artificial Intelligence?

  2. What are practical applications of ML?

  3. What are major issues / concerns with ML?

  4. What are the key skills and technologies involved and where can one research, learn, and apply?

WHAT IS THE FORMAT?

We'll have a quick introduction by our host, followed by two guest speakers and then a moderated Q&A panel. There will be time for meeting fellow attendees, speakers, and panelists as well.

HOW SHOULD I GET THERE?

Room CC1161 is in the southwest corner of the College Center Building at North Seattle College. Look for the Black & White North Seattle Tech Talks signage around the CC Building.

This location is served by several buses and rideshare services. We encourage folks to use public transit and carpool if possible, but parking is available for a small fee on campus. Parking is very limited in the neighborhood surrounding campus.
