North Shore Business Network - NSBN

Welcome to the North Shore Business Network (NSBN), a daringly low-key professional networking group.

We exist to support and promote small businesses in North and West Vancouver. We strive to provide our members with opportunities to network, pass referrals, share knowledge, and build meaningful connections in a community of other small business owners.

We meet every Wednesday at 7:45am***.

• Do you wish you had other entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges of running your own business?
• Are you looking for a group to refer your services to their network?
• Would having other professionals in your network strengthen your reputation?

We have regular attendance of 10 to 20 people and are always looking for motivated and friendly small business owners to join us. The cost is $17 online and $20 at the door (light breakfast and coffee included). We prefer you register and pay online as far in advance as possible (paying online possible up to 7:45am Wednesday), but cash and credit card are accepted at the registration desk. If paying in person, please arrive at 7:55am.

7:50am to 9am - Formal meeting that includes:
a) Opening Remarks
b) Business introductions
c) Member Presentation.
d) Upcoming Events, Testimonials, and Announcements

Please note:

• You do not have to become a NSBN meetup.com member to attend a meeting as a guest (a guest can be someone who 'joined' online through meetup.com, was invited by a current member or who simply shows up on Wednesday morning).
• Guests are invited to attend up to two meetings prior to applying for membership. Two personal references are required and a light google/social media check will be done prior to approval. After this, you will be asked to pay the $60 annual membership fee
• We don’t allow participation of Multi-level marketing (MLM) programs.

Things we probably don't need to mention but will anyways:

• We value diversity and inclusion, as such, no hate speech, sexism, racism will be tolerated. We absolutely know Black Lives Matter.
• We welcome all gender identities, expressions and people identifying as LGBT+
