What we’re about

Welcome! You have made the important first step in meeting a group of people who share many of the same feelings that you are experiencing right now. We are not a business or dating group. The group is for sharing experiences and supporting each other in this difficult time.

This group has been in existence for a number of years on Boston's North Shore, however, our members come from all over New England. The group is very unique in that members have diverse backgrounds. This includes a wide range of professions, trades, economic and religious backgrounds. Over time, feedback from the people that join our group has been that they find comfort in meeting others who know what the divorce/separated experience is all about.

At each meeting, the group is facilitated by nonprofessionals. It is important that you know that we are simply a group of concerned people helping people. The comfort that you will find in this group has helped hundreds of people over the years and is a testimony to the longevity of the group. The comment is often made that people wish they had found this group sooner.

You be the judge...we invite you to attend our next meeting. The meetings start at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Everyone that attends our meetings, understands what is said in the meeting, stays in the meeting. Confidentiality is respected and you are encouraged to speak on your own terms and when you are ready. Meetings generally last approximately two hours.

Tremendous bonds of friendship have been forged and continue beyond the scope of the group. There are social opportunities that take place in addition to our support meetings, if you choose to participate. Several members who at one time were going through the divorce process continue to stay active in the group because they feel that they have something to share with others who are going through this phase in their life. We hope you will join us.
