What we're about

If you have a school-aged student (ages 5 and up), we'd love to meet you!

This group is for anyone in the area who is homeschooling. We are an inclusive group that celebrates diversity. We strongly encourage a non-judgmental and open environment in which we can discuss homeschooling ideas. Everyone's ideas are welcome and appreciated.

This homeschool group is an all-volunteer, zero-profit homeschool cooperative. The cost of weekly activities varies with the activity and is paid to either the volunteer organizer of the activity or the organization offering the activity.

This group can only become what you need it to be IF you take an active role in planning events. Please contact the organizer if you would like to host events or have suggestions for the kinds of events you are looking for.

Educational Philosophy:

Our group as a whole has no opinion on which homeschooling path is the best for all children. Unschooling approaches vary from person to person and may be different for each family (or each individual child). We support the right of each family to individually determine what works best for his or her family. Our group includes members who describe themselves as eclectic homeschoolers, radical unschoolers and many others in between. No matter which homeschooling style, we all strive to create homes rich with loving connection, respect for one another, access to real-world resources and experiences. If this sounds like you, come join us!

Please note, we are a secular group.

We ask you respect everyone's individual choices.

To join, simply click the join us button and upload a recognizable photo of you (or you and your family) for your profile picture. You’ll be asked five short questions so we can get to know you and better serve your needs. --Sorry, applications that do not have a recognizable profile photo or incomplete answers cannot be approved.-- For our safety and yours, anonymous members or incomplete applications will not be approved.
