Our yearly visit to SAGE - TDD and ATDD
Hosted by Ministry of Testing Manchester
Details
On Tuesday 21st March, Sarah Alhawi, Test Automation Engineer from Sage UK, will lead the talks on Test Driven Development.
“My name is Sarah Alhawi and I have been working as a test automation engineer at SagePay for just over two years now. SagePay is a payment services provider and I work on the API that processes payments for our customers. The technology stack we use is mainly Java and for testing we use the testNG framework and rest assured for testing the API.
I heard about the North West tester gathering through colleagues at Sage which I am very grateful for as I am based in London! I wanted to get involved as I am very enthusiastic about being involved in the testing community and sharing knowledge and experiences with like-minded people.”
Also talking in the event is Gazi Syed, also from SagePay, London. He will give us his insight into ATDD, how this differs from TDD and how effective it can be. The event will be hosted in Sage’s Manchester office at Exchange Quay where food and drinks (as always) will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there.
The address is Building 1, Exchange Quay, Salford, M5 3EA. For anyone coming in on the tram, please alight at the Exchange Quay stop and Building 1 is the first building on the left as you come into the district.
