Designer and non-technical entrepreneur, if those are the choices,
Extremely varied, but my greatest strength is the combination of logical thinking and creativity that you see in nearly everything I've done.
Ideally, I'd be an ideas guy with someone else looking after the organization, finances, and technical detail - I can handle those things too (my current company is a one-man operation) but they don't come as naturally to me. Ideally someone else would be the McCartney to my Lennon.
My company, Philosoraptor Game Studio, is currently gearing up for its first Kickstarter as a vehicle to self-publish an innovative RPG in a Eurogame-influenced style. Further down the road, I want to start publishing other people's games too, settling back to become the main gatekeeper while occasionally putting out my own designs as well.
Mostly an idea of what resources are out there. Help with some of the details and the marketing side wouldn't exactly kill me either.
Self-employed tabletop game designer and publisher. I have also been a philosopher, network IT guy, and policy analyst for the Government of Manitoba.
