Digital health records, centralised data and information about our medical backgrounds has attracted much debate and inflammatory headlines over the years.

But are we actually lagging behind others in the world and missing out on huge opportunities of efficiencies, saved $ and of course, better health outcomes for individuals and society?

Stephen Haddy, Principal with H-Box (International) will help to untangle the hype from the reality and show us what can be achieved and when.

Stephen is a veteran of the I.T. Industry. He has more than 25 years' experience as the Head of an Australian Software R&D Company which designed, built and supported business, legal, manufacturing and engineering software used worldwide. Five of these products were first-of-a-kind and had global sales penetration.

Stephen has worked in the Health Industry as CIO of Mercy Health, where he introduced possibly Australia’s first integrated Medical Record across most of MH's 26 facilities - from acute and maternity to palliative and community care. Stephen was the Program Manager for the roll-out of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service National Blood Management System and has been a Principal consultant for 8 years with SMS M&T in their Technology Services team.

Stephen headed Telstra Health’s development of their disruptive whole-of-health ecosystem and achieved ISM certification for the solution.

Currently, Stephen is Principal with H-Box (International), initiating the use of H-Box’s Universal Data Repository and its ability to link all consenting data feeds in any Industry (but specifically in Health) to create the only completely secure and irrefutable data store in market.
