Northampton Geek Nights #01

UPDATE: After much deliberation (around 0.2 seconds) and based directly on the wildly successful MK Geek Nights (http://mkgeeknight.co.uk/) and Oxford Geek Nights (http://oxford.geeknights.net/), we have decided to change the name to Northampton Geek Nights (after our very lame first name: Internet and eCommerce Meet) so many thanks for them for letting us shamelessly pilfer the idea.

Northampton has been recognised as one of the best places to do business and our aim is to help develop this further for everyone involved the Internet and eCommerce industry to meet up and share knowledge for the benefit of all.

We're a pretty broad bunch so you may be: Programmer, Developer, Designer, Apps dev, Mobile dev, Hosting, Telecoms, Payments, Business owner, Logistics, Search Optimiser, PPC, Copywriter, Merchandiser, Hardware, Conversions, Affiliates, Social Marketing or similar.

We also welcome business owners, managers and team members responsible for Internet & eCommerce who want to contribute and share knowledge too. This also includes eBayers, Amazon Sellers, and other Marketplace merchants.

This a regular meetup for designers and developers in and around Northampton and run by Nick Morton.

We meet straight after work at the Wig and Pen, Giles Street, Northampton Town Centre and then grab something to eat at Papa Cinos around the corner on Fish Street.

We do not have speakers or a schedule [yet] but can work on that. At the moment it's a chance to meet like minded individuals to come up with fresh ideas and get Northampton on the t'intermap.
