PLEASE NOTE - As of 7/15/20, NDR is no long accepting new members. Please do not apply as your membership request will be declined. Unfortunately, we have no way to turn off member requests on the Meetup.com platform.
This group is for riders interested in finding the paths less traveled in their motorcycle journeys, exploring those out of the way, legal off asphalt routes that lead to the many hidden places of beauty in New England, New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania. If you like the challenge of off-road riding but aren't into trailering your bike to get there, come join us to make every ride an adventure.
This meetup is for tenured riders with off-road experience and well maintained light to mid-displacement road legal DS motorcycles which meet all DOT requirements (including 96 db sound levels). Please note we are NOT an ADV displacement club - No large displacement ADV class bikes please unless you are referred by a current NDR member in good standing.
Upon joining NDR, members are required to have current registration & insurance on the motorcycle(s) they will be utilizing for NDR Rides. Be sure to provide your real name (First and Last Name as it appears on your motor vehicle driver's license) on your membership profile (no screen names allowed) and populate all fields - including your location (Town, State). Please also provide a close-up picture of yourself on your profile (mandatory). Please note that failure to submit all items above as required will result in your membership request being declined.
Please note that your $20 annual membership dues are required as part of your NDR membership. If you are unwilling to chip in this amount annually to help cover the cost of NDR's required yearly payment to Meetup.com, which hosts our site, please do not apply for membership. Anyone who joins and does not promptly make their membership dues payment within 2 days of admittance will be removed from the group.
NDR requires all riders to wear a DOT approved helmet and upper body armor on each ride they attend. We also strongly encourage them to have an armored motorcycle jacket & pants along with riding gloves and boots with shin & ankle protection.
