Hudson Photography Jaunt - Bonticou and more!

Details
10/18 With the fall colors at its peak in the Catskills, this outing will focus more on serious photography. So, I'm moving the Breakneck to some other day and add in other places in the Catskills instead. There are many places to pick (secret!).
------------------------
I'm planning to hit two excellent scrambles and do some good photography at the same time. The fall color is here! So grab your camera and let's scramble!
We will meet in the morning to do a quick scramble up Breakneck and back down. After Breakneck, we will drive up to New Paltz in time for lunch at the town or along the way. We then proceed to scramble up Bonticou. If we have time, we can explore further the New Paltz area and do some more photography.
This hike is for regular members only, particularly for those who are into photography. I can only take a small number to keep the commute/hike more manageable and so we can move around with ease. I'm only taking those who are good with their RSVPs.
Since this is a photography outing, be prepared to do long stops at the area. We do some scrambling, some fast hiking to get to the next photo site, hmmm and even river crossing and caving.. And of course lots of jumping shots! Bring some layers, hot drink and food to keep you warm. Depending on the weather, we might also start very early (dawn and/or dusk) to get the most from the golden hours. So no whining!
Email me if interested.
