Happy New Year NCOA friends,
As we prepare for 2013, and make our resolutions to meet more friends, be more active, have more fun, create great memories, laugh, play . . . and pretty much commit to getting out of the house and off of the couch, I’d like to encourage you to use NCOA for this purpose.
The NCOA calendar is based on member participation. If you want to go on a walk or a hike or a ride or . . . and don’t want to go by yourself, post an invite. It’s easy to post and pretty soon you’ll find yourself wondering why you waited so long to take advantage of this amazing forum. The benefit of posting is that you decide the time, location, length, difficulty of activity, how many to invite, etc.
If you aren’t already an event host, and would like to post to the NCOA calendar, please send me an email. I’ll get you started and the great thing is that you can save your posting as a draft. That way, you don’t have to be nervous about posting the first time as I can review it prior to it becoming official.
NCOA has more than 900 members. That means there is lots of diversity - age, interest, time availability, fitness level, etc. So don’t be shy, RSVP for an event or become an event host in 2013.
I look forward to hearing from you.
