What we're about

Hi all, I'm trying to ascertain if there would be any interest in going to the "Blues from the Top" music festival in Winter Park this summer. I have never been to this festival but it looks great and this years lineup is AMAZING. Link to festival is here: https://grandblues.org/bluesfromthetop/ I have been to many multi-day music festivals and have always had a total blast. We'll be out in the sun in a folding chair that you bring. They also have later night music so this is truly 2 full days of music and dancing. Know that these are long days and we're obviously up there altitude wise. Shuttles are available. I don't want to write a book here so please go to the link above and check it out. Also, this is generally a no host event. There is lots to do up here, some may get tired sooner than others, want to do other things like go hiking or biking, etc. I already bought my general admission 2 day ticket so I'm going for sure. Camping and lodging is plentiful and not crazy expensive at all. Again, PLEASE PLEASE go to the webiste and check it out. I'm happy to answer questions but everything you need to know is at the link above. If a group of us commits soon we can talk about getting lodging that will accommodate a group. I'm going up Friday morning and coming home on Monday myself. Thanks! Also, if you have an interest in going please sign up. No pressure if you change your mind. This is a few months out there so I know other things (like life!) will happen. God Bless!
UPDATE 2/28: Hey all...I had some "life interruptions" happen a couple weeks ago, which ended up putting the purchase of these tickets on my back burner. NO WORRIES, though...WE CAN STILL GET GOOD SEATS halfway up in the same great viewing section...not much has changed! I just received another "yes" RSVP today...so thought I'd check one last time: ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED IN GOING???? If so, see the details below and RSVP RIGHT AWAY, as I WILL MOST DEFINITELY be purchasing the tickets TOMORROW MORNING! Thanks! ------------------------ Hi everyone! So, if you've never been to a Chris Tomlin concert...it needs to be on your bucket list! It's actually more than a Christian music concert...more like a worship experience...always with an inspiring message given during the band's intermission. And it doesn't get any better than worshipping with other believers under the stars at Red Rocks! He has a new tour/album he'll be promoting called "Holy Roar"...but I have seen him numerous times, and he ALWAYS plays his past and current music. Tickets prices vary depending where you sit...and right now, the "reasonable" price appears to be $50 each, which would get us seats about halfway up the amphitheatre...which is not bad for concert viewing. I am happy to order tickets for us, so our group can sit together. Please let me know if you would like a ticket and how many, in case you're bringing a guest. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO PURCHASE YOU A TICKET BY THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH. I realize this is a short window to decide, since the concert is months away, but the seating availability will continue to move higher up in the amphitheatre for the same price, which is really less desirable. Once I have a headcount, I'll message the final ticket price to everyone, and you can drop me a check in the mail, and then I'm happy to mail you your ticket(s). This would be my preference rather than waiting until July when I see you at the concert to get paid. ;o) Obviously, as we get closer to the concert date, we can figure out carpooling, for those who want to commute together....maybe even have a potluck tailgate dinner before the concert. :o) Can't wait for this! And I can safely say, this will be a highlight for your summer! One detail you should know...Chris Tomlin loves Colorado and loves coming to play at Red Rocks...and he typically plays a full, long concert. There will be bands playing before him...maybe Tauren Wells and a couple others...tbd. But all that said, after the concert, once we navigate the parking lot and drive home from Morrison, it's likely to be about midnight. A long evening, but SO worth it!! :o)) Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! Blessings, Rhonda Cronan
