What we're about

The Northern Virginia Branch of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (NOVA WILPF) is just starting and we need women interested in working on peace and social justice issues in our state.

NOVA WILPF is a branch of a larger organization that was founded in 1915 during WWI, with Jane Addams as its first president. WILPF works to achieve disarmament, full rights for women, racial and economic justice, and an end to all forms of violence. We serve all Northern Virginians, working to create the political, social, and psychological conditions which can assure peace, freedom, and justice for all.

Our Branch meets on the 1st Monday of each month at 7 PM at the Fairfax Wegmans, 11620 Monument Drive, Fairfax, VA. Meetings are free and open to all.
