NBG Wednesday breakfast meeting
Each week's gives an opportunity for one particular member's business to present in more detail what he or she does or present a topic of interest to the group. As well, we always practice our elevator speeches, trade referrals and announcements, and support each other in building our businesses. Come and find out more, while enjoying breakfast and conversation with other business professionals, in a one-hour meeting to start your day off right.

What we're about

The Northumberland Business Group (NBG) offers Northumberland County business professionals an opportunity to network and build relationships. We meet from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. every Wednesday morning at "The Mill Restaurant & Pub" located at 990 William Street in Cobourg.

The doors open at 7:00am where members and visitors can interact in an informal non-structured setting until 7:15am where the more formal part of the meeting start and last for just over an hour.

There is a $200.00 yearly fee to join the group, and members are required to pay $13.50/week for their breakfast and are expected to make a commitment to attend these weekly meeting regularly. An allowance of up to 4 absences per 6 month period will be given, but if a substitute attends the meeting in your place, it will not be counted as an absence. A fellow NBG member has been quoted as saying that missing a meeting can be “hazardous to your wealth” which is so true because the more often you meet, the better acquainted you are able to get with the fellow members and the more referrals you will ultimately receive.

Non-members are required to attend a breakfast meeting before applying to join. Please call or email me at so we can expect you.

The structure is such that only one member is accepted to the group per occupation or industry as this leads to a more cohesive group.

Check out our "Group Reviews" and see what our members are saying about this group.

If you are interested in joining after having attended a breakfast meeting, please click on "Join us" and an eMail will be sent to you indicating what to do next, please describe your industry briefly so that your request can be considered against the existing membership.
