This group is for individuals who enjoy walking and hiking with others for fitness and fellowship. The group is open to anyone who would like to participate in scheduled walks in parks around the Shoals area and/or for anyone who will join scheduled hikes at local natural preserves, state parks and national parks. While all skill levels are welcome, most of our events are organized for moderate to advanced levels of fitness. Beginners or those who have been out of exercise for awhile are encouraged to begin participating in park walks first to build up fitness levels. I started this group to meet others in the area who enjoys being outdoors and are interested in personal fitness. I look forward to exploring some of the beautiful areas of our region of the state with others!
