October 2019 Network Automation Meetup

Details
This will be the inaugural event for the Northwest Network Automation group!
The goal for this event will be to have two 25-30 minute talks and a lightning talk, followed by some open discussion/mingling time. As we get closer to the event we will update this description with more specifics -- but its a safe bet that there will be at least a little bit of discussion about Nornir the Python Automation framework!
Rough schedule of events:
[5:30-5:50] Snacks/drinks/mingle
[5:50-5:55] Introductions
[5:55-6:20] Samir Parikh - Batfish for Pre-Deploymnet Validation
[6:20-6:40] Carl Montanari - Nornir for ad-hoc Network Configs and Troubleshooting
[6:40-6:45] Lightning Talk - Eric Chou: Evolution of Network Automation
[6:45-6:50] Lightning Talk - Chip Marshall: Netbox & Peering Manager
[6:50-7:30] Wrap-up/open discussion/hangout!
If you're interested in getting involved in any way, shoot us a message, we'd love to get as much participation as possible!
Going forward the goal will be to run 2 or 3 of these a year (first three calendar quarters probably with a skip for the CYQ4 holiday time).
Big thank you to Samir, Ratul and the fine folks at Intentionet for offering to host!
