Northwest Philly Sunday Pack Walk
WELCOME, PACK WALKERS!!! We're so glad you found us! Pack walks meet 9:30 AM Sunday mornings at McMichael Park, Henry & Midvale Avenues in the "East Falls" section of Philadelphia for a walk around neighborhoods ranging from urban rowhomes to country mansions, with some Wissahickon thrown in for good measure. About an hour-long walk at an easy pace. Sometimes we find enclosed spaces for free play but not all dogs participate. IF YOUR DOG IS REACTIVE: It's OK, but please let us know how much space you need to stay safe. We'll figure out how to walk together as we move along, no worries. This Meetup site is not terribly responsive, so if you have questions or would like more info, please email [masked] for an immediate reply. PS ummm... Meetup seems to automatically add a "support this meetup" message -- ignore that please we're FREE! :-) The only "payment" is that you allow us to photograph your dog so we can promote social, responsible dog ownership in East Falls. Thank you very much for your participation in supporting dog-friendly activities in NW Philly!

What we're about

Join the Pack! NW Philly Pack Walk's relaxed neighborhood strolls welcome dogs, kids, seniors... If you enjoy socializing & checking out the neighborhood, you'll love Pack Walks.

NO DOG REQUIRED (but they do tend to add to the fun).

FREE WALK 9:30 AM EVERY SUNDAY -- about an hour of wandering the lovely streets of East Falls.

PLUS: every month, we host a Saturday sunset guided hike in the Wissahickon, where we explore cool local trails with historic bridges, scenic overlooks, and gorgeous greenery.

Meet in East Falls for a dog-friendly neighborhood stroll our hilly streets, thru leafy parks and historic architecture.

No worries if your dog is out of practice with his leash, or has trouble controlling herself around other pups &/or peeps. We understand -- dogs of all temperaments can benefit from Pack Walks, just be sure to let other dog owners know how much space you need. FUN FACT: Even rowdy dogs spinning on their leashes almost always relax into happy Pack Walkers once we all get moving. Read more about "the power of the pack" here:
