Northwest Phoenix & Scottsdale Social Events

Come and join us for cards on Thursday, October 23rd at 5:30 PM at IHOP, 8359 W Bell Rd in Peoria. We will be playing Hand and Foot and Toe. Everyone is welcome and we are willing to teach it if you don’t already know it.

We will eat first and then split up in tables to start playing. We are going to start playing promptly at 6:15 so you can come and eat earlier if you want or finish eating at your game table. This will give us more time to play a full 4 hands. Take it from me, it’s a lot of fun and once you learn, you will be hooked.

This event will show up on our calendar every 2 weeks. So, I hope you will come and join us.

You are asking what is "Songo"? It is playing bingo with music. You need to come and experience it and you will get hooked. You will receive a bingo sheet with bands, singers or TV shows with musical themes. If you want 2 bingo cards, they give the mostly winning "gold" cards for a donation (usually $1). The host, who is quite entertaining, by the way, plays part of the song and if you have the artist, you check it off like regular bingo. You play 5 games. The fun comes in singing along with the songs. On the 5th game, write your name on all your cards for a door prize drawing at the end.

Come and meet for happy hour at Moon Valley Grill, 15414 North 7th St. in Phoenix, on Tuesday, October 28th at 5:00PM and the games start at 6:00 PM. I will have a table reserved under Mary. Parking can get a little tight so coming at 5:00 is best.
