What we're about

The Norwich Node User Group (nnug) provides a community for developers working with or interested in Node.js, JavaScript and related frameworks. It hosts meetups on the first Monday of every month, where there will be a presentation on a variety of different subjects, with a chance to socialise after.

Events are held at the Mash Tun in Norwich (16 Charing Cross, Norwich NR2 4AL) and start at 7pm.

If you would like to know any more, suggest ideas or get involved, then please feel free to message one of the organisers on here. We are currently looking for further speakers and would love to hear from you.

Call For Speakers

We are always looking for speakers who would like to give a 20-minute presentation on a topic related to Node.js, JavaScript or its libraries. We are keen to get both seasons speakers and those who have not spoken before but would like to share some of their knowledge We have kept the talks short enough, so anyone can get involved, but they can also be longer if you want. (Don't be shy!)

If you would like to present something, just fire us a quick message with the following information.

• Name:

• Title:

• Talk Abstract:

• Profile (info about you):

• Website / Other Links (you want to promote):

• Are you ok to be streamed/recorded

As well as talks, we are looking to facilitate members starting up projects together and learning new tools. We plan to run workshops and create a space where people can come along and share ideas. This includes a hackathon, which is focused on technical deliveries rather than business ones. To get us going, we have set up a GitHub organisation (https://github.com/orgs/norwichnodeusergroup).

We would like to forge links with global and local organisations. Please get in touch if you would like to sponsor some drinks, pizzas or swag for our events.
