Lets make the most of the sun this Summer! Whitlingham Country Park has an amazing lake with cycle and walking paths. Nothing strenuous, a stroll around the picturesque lake taking in wildlife and watching the numerous water activities taking place on the lake. Whitlingham is in Trowse, just outside Norwich. Walking: To walk around the lakes at a normal pace will take 1.5 to 2 hours so wear comfy shoes. If you're speedwalkers maybe you can go around twice in a small group and lapse the relaxed walkers. Cycling: Casual cycling around the lakes is roughly 30 minutes (it's the same paths as the walkers). For faster cyclists, you can fit in 4 laps! There is no cycle hire I don't think so please bring your own bikes. Personally I will be cycling. Whatever your speed, I'm sure you'll really enjoy this afternoon event. Note: Entry is free to Whitlingham Country Park. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is an event immediately after this event for the more adventurous at Whitlingham Slopes next door, join in if it takes your fancy! But you are more than welcome to just come and spectate from the bar area that looks out directly onto the slopes. There will be a further event after the slopes, by then we will all be starving marvins!
