What we're about
NotaClub Eastern (http://www.notaclub.com.au)
We are a relatively small but very active, group of people who enjoy life and just want to have fun.
NotaClub Eastern is a social community of people, primarily in the Eastern and North-Eastern areas of Melbourne, who wish to enhance their social lives by just getting out, making new friends and having some fun in safe and low-cost environments.
NotaClub Eastern partners with NotaClub Bayside, (which attracts people in the North-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne), and for all intents and purposes both groups are one and fully interact with each other.
Being a member of one group automatically makes you part of the other - whether you've actually included yourself on the other's member list or not - and ALL NaC'ers are invited to attend ALL get-togethers from either group.
RSVP'ing rules apply for those get-togethers with attendance limits requirements - i.e. don't attend limited-number events unless you've RSVP'd into it and the host is expecting you.
And if you RSVP into a get-together and the host is expecting you - GO TO IT.
Let common sense prevail.
Both NotaClub (Bayside) and NotaClub (Eastern) attract like-minded people in the over 40s age age group who simply want get out, meet new people, make new friends and have some fun.
We have loads of interesting 'get togethers' on our Calendar, conceived, created and hosted by our community of NotaClubbers (Nac'ers).
Anyone who wants to participate is invited to join our friendly group and share in our fun activities. Those who do will likely form lasting friendships in a short period of time.
NotaClub is 'for' people who want to get out a make friends and have fun.
1) We are NOT a SINGLES group or a DATING club - NotaClub's agenda is 'good fun and good socialising'. If your agenda differs from our agenda please give NotaClub the courtesy of going somewhere else.
There's plenty of other groups you can join who don't care what you do.
2) If you choose to 'join' you'll need a PHOTO ID that CLEARLY IDENTIFIES YOU.
Think passport photo style.
3) NotaClub has an expectation of activity. If you have no intention of being active, don't 'join' it serves no purpose and wastes our organisers time.
You don't need to actually 'join' to come to many of our get-togethers, which are in public places - our NotaClubhouse is generally open at all times it's not organising private functions for us or others.
