Melodies, harmonies, riffs, and licks… plugged or unplugged! Orchestras, rock stars and wandering jazzmen. We love it all. All genres. All venues. Do you love music? Notice the weight of it’s absence? If your answer is yes, then you will strike a chord with this musical meet-up. Let’s share some notes!
Don’t be shy! Please provide a valid profile photo so we can spot you in a crowd. :)
The bad news: WolfGANG Session 14 is sold out. The good news: Looks like there is a talented musician at the Rainbow May 4th - Angelique Francis. We can meet at OZ at 6:00 for dinner and get to the Rainbow by 8:00. Show is supposed to start around 8:30. Advance tickets can be purchased online for $13. They are $15 at the door assuming this too does not sell out. There are no reservations or assigned seating at the Rainbow. I have a reservation for 12 people at OZ.

Looking forward to getting back into some classical events at Dominion-Chalmers. I'm planning on attending this father (cellist), daughter (pianist) concert Wednesday May 8th. My ticket is in the B1 section - general seating. Prices range from $30 to $50. Join me! :) We can meet in the line up around 7:00 p.m. Show starts at 7:30.

Several times a year the NAC runs a concert series called Casual Friday's. It starts with a free pre-concert at 5:30 in the lobby with cocktails and tapas, the main concert from 7 to 8:30 and then a post concert party in the foyer. This link has more details : https://nac-cna.ca/en/event/18767
I bought my ticket for the show back in November so so it's unlikely that we will be able to all sit together for the concert but we can "meetup" before and after the concert. I'm in the Orchestra seat A15 if you're looking for something close.
I've listed the meetup for 8 people but there is no actual limit so if you want to come along add yourself to the waitlist and I will amend the meetup size. No concert ticket is required to attend the pre-concert concert.
