Design Thinking is a creative problem solving methodology originally developed in the 1960s that focuses on collaborative, human-centred design. Whilst this approach is making waves across the Atlantic, it's less common in the UK despite having the potential to make a huge impact on the way we innovate.
Sarah will discuss where and how it all started, beginning with the Godfathers of Design Thinking, the Kelley brothers; explaining why Design Thinking matters in Nottingham, and what you can do to get started.
Fuelled by the belief that we are all creative, Sarah combines her unique experience of leading change projects in a range of public and private sector organisations, her experience as a Leadership Coach and her passion for creative collaboration to partner with people in organisations including Red Bull, Penguin Random House, UK Sport, British Triathlon, Camelot and Rolls Royce.
