This is a group for members looking to meet people, socialize and generally have a good time. From bars, clubbing, dining to hiking we have all sorts of events and your ideas are welcome. Just join up and come along. Kindness and respect are important so treat others how you wish to be treated.

Note - any members who are seen to be causing distress to other members are at the risk of being removed from the group.

All members are required to have a name and photo on their profile. Any suspected fake or menace profiles will receive a kind request to update their profile. Failure to comply will result in the removal of the profile.

Social Walk with Six People at Various Locations with Nottingham Friends

For this walk, post a comment, A date when you are Available, also which location you would like to walk from, also how many miles, EG between 4 and 9 Miles, and then arrange between yourself for 6 people to do that walk. Friends also are welcome as well.

Four Mile Evening Nottingham Walk

Forest Recreation Ground

It's all over, as Nottingham enters Tier 3 Covid-19 restrictions join us for a last semi-normal four-mile evening walk around Nottingham parks and suburbs. Starting from the Forest Recreation Ground promptly at 1815 and finishing sometime after 8 pm. The route will take us through the Forest Recreation Ground, Waterloo Promenade, The Arboretum, Carrington, and back through the Forest Recreation Ground. Easily accessible by public transport with regular trams to the meetup point and a free car park next to the tram stop. With dark nights fast approaching a hand torch may be useful towards the end of the walk and the weather may be unpredictable along with ground conditions. Children and well-behaved dogs welcomed on the walk. Please arrive for this walk from 1800 onwards to avoid large group gatherings. All people attending this event their details will be held for twenty-one days in case of an incident of Covoid 19 among the group and the need to contact the NHS Track and Trace system. If over six people attend this walk then the group will be split into smaller groups, the maximum size of six, with a leader appointed for each group. Groups will follow each other staying two meters apart and at pinch points i.e. gates, stiles, and road crossings groups will wait for the preceding group to clear the area staying two meters apart and wait until the group ahead of you has cleared the area and reach a safe distance of 2 meters before proceeding ahead. Gloves or hand sanatizer are recommended for the handling of gates, stiles, and street furniture. Please do not attend the walk if you are feeling unwell or cannot maintain an average walking speed of 2 miles per hour. Traveling to this event please try to ensure there is a 50/50 balance between those coming by public transport and those coming by car to avoid overcrowding on public transport. For those coming by car, the advice is car sharing is not recommended unless it is a family member or someone in your support bubble. This walk will start promptly at 1815 to avoid large crowds gathering so please ensure you arrive on time to avoid missing out on the walk. Wollaton Park 8 Mile Exploration Sunday Stroll

Wollaton Park

Join us for an eight-mile walk around Wollaton Park and the surrounding area. Meet at the main car park or come by public transport frequent buses to the meetup point. Now Nottingham is in Tier 3 COVID-19 restrictions this walk can go ahead but with severe restrictions and all the usual COVID-19 restrictions will apply. Once you arrive for the walk I will organize you into groups of six and you can make up your own walk or I will have a printed instruction leaflet for the walk that is easy to follow. Please could I ask for a donation of 50p if you would like a printed walk leaflet to cover some of the printing costs. Please arrive for this walk from 1045 onwards to avoid large group gatherings. Join us for a four-mile evening walk around Nottingham city center and The Park Estate. Starting from the Nottingham playhouse promptly at 1815 and finishing sometime after 8 pm. The route will take us through the Park Estate, the Nottingham Canal and Nottigham City center. Easily accessible by public transport with regular trams and buses to the meetup point. If coming by car please send me your car details as I can arrange parking nearby on Goldmsith Street from 1730 to 2030 for £3.75, pay me at the start of the walk.
