Short Notice Local Walk - (near Eastwood)

Details
Bit of a Short Notice Walk but who fancies a local walk of 7.5 miles within Nottinghamshire, near Eastwood (DH Lawrence's stomping ground)??
Weather Forecast for Saturday:
Saturday is scheduled to be dry in the daytime and warm according to the forecast. Starting with a cloudy sky in the morning with outbreaks of sunshine, staying dry and cloudy in the afternoon up until around 7-9pm where rain is possible.
As its only a few days away thought shall keep this one quite local,
Colliers Wood is on the outskirts of Eastwood which is 7 miles North West from the city of Nottingham
The route starts at 'Colliers Wood' and then heads off to 'Beauvale Lodge' by 'Moorgreen Reservoir' and then through a woodland area called 'The Gullets', then continuing along into 'High Park Wood' and then walking alongside 'Morning Springs'. From here we take the southerly trail via 'Big Stainers' and passing 'Robin Hood's Well' near the M1, then onto a minor road for 450 meters before we get back on the footpath by 'Brooksbreasting Farm' all the way to 'Greasley'. At 'Greasley' we will pass a picturesque small church and the remains of 'Greasley Castle' once past the Church we will head in Westerly direction eventually coming to the country park of 'Colliers Wood' and back to the car park.

And now for the Usual:
As always make sure you are prepared for this walk.
You will need:
• Walking boots are always the ideal footwear of choice
• Suitable clothes, Layers are good, (Jeans aren’t recommended as if they get wet they become heavy, lightweight breathable trousers are better).
• Waterproofs are essential even in our great British summertime,
• Snacks, Sweets etc.
• Adequate water or soft drinks
As with it being now 'British Summer Time....' don't forget your sunglasses
Sense of humour is essential!!
PLEASE BRING A PACKED LUNCH - we will stop along the route for Lunch, the half way point will mean we will be in a woodland area so please be self-sufficient for food/drink for the day.
At the end of the walk there are 2 pubs within 1km from the car park that could be an option for a refreshing drink at the end to the walk.
Please arrive at the car park in plenty of time so we can promptly start at 10.30am
