Derby Speakers' Club: Fourth Meeting 2019/2020

Presenting, motivating, feedback, reporting, selling, persuading…

All of these skills require the core ability to speak in public and communicate to an audience with sincerity, authenticity and enthusiasm.

It’s not easy.

We are by our nature #nervous creatures, and while confidence comes easily to many, some of us ensure the sweaty palms, racing heart, dry mouth and blank mind that make us fear #PublicSpeaking.

Help is to hand, in a community of like-minded self-improvers across the country. Speakers’ Clubs are peer-to-peer learning organisations who help you be the best you can be. A better speaker, better presenter, and better leader.

Our #Derby Club meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at Friends Meeting House in St Helen’s St, starting at 7.30pm with doors at 7.15pm. You’ll get a warm welcome and will be encouraged to experience the club’s core values: to #engage, to #enjoy, and to #excel.
