Nottingham Vegetarian/Vegan Meetup Group

Notts Dining Co-op is a group of talented young vegans who aim to create regular high quality but cheap community meals for the public at regular intervals. They are currently serving a regular vegan meal on the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month at the Sumac Centre. Past offerings include paella, meatballs, tagine, enchiladas, tacos, tapas, goulash, biryani, pasta, falafel, dal, stir-fry, soup, lasagna, tikka masala, turndown, lentil shepherd's pie.

I've attended several now and they've all been fabulous! The food quality and culinary imagination are high. There is no fixed charge, you can pay what you like, but they recommend £2. Hot drinks are available from the Sumac's facilities (make small donation please).

Note: they are usually not ready by 7, there can be a wait before they serve up. This time can be used to get to know your fellow diners and discuss the finer points of vegan cuisine.
