See all- George Gadd & The Aftermath @JT w/Campfire Social, Wood & Nails and Hollow StoneJT Soar, Nottingham
George is playing JT once again, and bringing his friends in Wood & Nails and Campfire Social from Birmingham and Wrexham respectively along with him.
I've seen both out of town supports at Rough Trade, Campfire Social at last year's Record Store Day, and Wood & Nails before then. Was particularly impressed with Campfire!
Local support comes from Hollow Stone, who are having their first ever gig!!

Tix: - Orbital - The Green & Brown Album Live!Rock City, Nottingham
***IMPORTANT UPDATE***
I've just received this artist announcement for this event!!So… We have a special announcement. We’ve been working on the Green album since August and had a real blast re-living it via vintage Atari computers and mountains of floppy disks (all still working I might add). Guess what, it's all ready to go!
With time on our hands now, we thought we’d go back to our original idea which was to play BOTH the Green and Brown albums, We had been cautious to put both in at the start as we had no idea how long it would take to prepare the tracks but it’s been so much fun preparing this show we just felt it would be rude to not include the Brown album too. They say the devil makes work for idle hands so we better get busy.
It will be a game of two halves, the Green Album first then a short interval so you can get a drink, go to the loo, we can do a quick costume change (go to the loo) then straight into the Brown Album. I’ve got to get back to it now as I’ve got an elusive drum part to track down forThis is going to be a rare opportunity to see Orbital perform both their debut 1991 Green Album and their Brown Album live!
In the words of Orbital's Phil Hartnoll on the Green Album...
“To play 'The Green Album' live will be a wholly new experience for us and you, it’ll be a bit of an adventure. This will be new territory that I can’t wait to explore. As the saying goes... There is the theory of the Möbius, a twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop, and when we reach that point, whatever happened will happen again. That time, it would appear, is now," says Orbital's Phil Hartnoll.
