Paper Prototyping the City Workshop - How to Think About Interactivity

10 February 2014, 18.00 - 21.00pm.

Location: Broadway Cinema, Nottingham

The pace of technological change is ever increasing, but most projects tend to focus on features rather than engagement. It’s important to create interactions that are joyful and don't require an instruction manual or degree in computer science to successfully interact with.

Hellicar & Lewis have spent the last five years making interactive experiences in the real world that make feedback loops between people, places and technology. Their workshops on Paper Prototyping will enable you to navigate past the next of buzz words that is modern experience design and zero-in on joyful interactions that matter.

Gamification of Healthcare

18 February 2014, 18.00 - 21.00PM

Location: Antenna, Nottingham

Aim: To apply gamification methods to advance health and wellness and personalized medicine.

This workshop will explore the potential to engage and impact patient care by leveraging lessons from gaming. What behaviours within gaming can be transferred into the healthcare and pro-active wellness sectors?

Gaming experts will share techniques used to motivate, reward and engage players to design practical games and methods for health and wellness challenges.
